Money and Living

I  am  not really happy with it. This  advertiser  must pay me last December  2011  for some advertising in my blogs but it seems that the  person in-charge is just ignoring me. Actually the deadline for payment should be Dec. 15, 2011 but until now, I haven’t receive any payment yet.  I already sent a lot of reminders through emails for the past weeks  but still he is not  replying to it.

What I did today was  I  sent some messages  to their CEO through their website. Here are some of the words I wrote them.

“Dear Mr XXX,

First of all I  would like to apologize for sending this message here.  I should normally not but it seems that Mr.  XX  has been ignoring my previous reminders about the payment for the ads  in my blogs. The reason why I am directing it here.

Please find below the previous mails  I send to Mr. XXX. I hope that this will be settled  very soon.
Thanks in advance and  I do apologize  for any inconvenience this may cause.

When I checked my inbox tonight, I found out that Mr. XX already replied to my message. he mentioned that he will  take care of it immediately. Imagine  more than a month of waiting?? I can have some patience but there are just people who are very unprofessional. I hope to received the payment soon so that I can buy a new lens for my DSLR Canon camera.

I  had been asked so many times  how to make money in the internet. I am not  an expert but I tell you guys  you can make money  through a lot of  means online. You can make money through  blogging.  I read  online that you can also make money with your  facebook and twitter profiles. The latter, I still don’t know.

I already proved that you can make  money through your blog .First of all, you  have to  create a blog. Whatever topics that interest you, you  can always write it in your blog. If you have  interest in cars, house and home, gardening, travel, photography, family, computers or  you may create a general blog where you can write all your hobbies and interest,  you always have the choice to do it.

Winter is truly here!  I believed this is not a bad winter.  I love the  winter now because we really don’t have a lot of snow compared to the past winter we had. Even without snow, you still have to wear  winter clothes especially when you are outside the house. It is not a problem for me because I already have a lot of winter stuffs from jackets to pull-overs, winter boots, gloves and other winter accessories.

Living in Europe for more than ten years now, I can already adjust the four seasons of the year. Keep warm peeps!

It was so far a lovely and wonderful Christmas celebration we had this year 2011. We celebrated with with friends and we joined together for a feast with lots of foods on the table. I am very thankful  about it. Thanks to all good friends around who are always there for us in good and bad times.

How  was your Monday? We are quite busy  with the  little clean-up that we are currently doing in our attic.  I guess it is not little but a big thing to do. There are just a lot of stuffs in there and we are trying to check what  things  we can dispatch or throw away.  I started with the empty boxes, papers and plastics. Hubby did the  electronics and other gadgets that we don’t need anymore.

We also dispatched our old dryer. I never use dryer  after washing clothes. I dry it in its natural way. During summer, I hang it outside and during winter time  I hang it in the attic and  when it is a bit dry, I hang it near the heater. It’s not really bad besides we already save a lot of power and electric since we’ve been doing it. Thus saving some bucks from it. It  is also one way of saving  Mother Nature.

We will continue tomorrow with the clean-up. I hope we can finish it all before the end of the week. Enjoy the rest of Monday!

It was a very busy  Saturday  we had today. It was not really stressing but there are just a lot of little things that needs to be done before holiday comes. Oh yes, we  are slowly getting ready for holiday season. I am happy that  I finally put-up our Christmas tree  today.   I also did some household chores. I  did laundry for four times  today. Dirty clothes, bedding, curtains and other laundries that need to be done. I also did some cooking at lunch time.

I am quite happy and contented because I did accomplished a lot of little things today. Photos of  our Christmas tree to be uploaded very  soon!

For now, we are trying to budget everything from grocery shopping to water, electric, gasoline for our two cars and other  controllable expenses that we can try to control.

We went a bit grocery shopping last Monday. After picking-up the grocery items that we need, we finally go to the cashier to pay for it. There was an old woman that  came first on the paying counter.  I did not saw any grocery items  that she laid on the cashier. I heard her asking about cigarette packs. I was surprised when the cashier scanned all the items, the old lady paid almost forty euros for ten packs of cigarettes.

After paying all the grocery items that we had, I told hubby about the old woman. “Imagine we only spend around 25.00 Euros for our groceries  and here is an  old lady paying for almost 40.00 Euros only for burning her lungs. I guess  she has a lot of money.

With the economic crisis that we are having now a lot of people are losing their jobs. We are also  trying to tighten our belts to get into our budget.  Besides we are happy that we had already paid most of our debts now especially  our house mortgage.

Lastly, I can only say that we only need to live according to our means.  A simple but happy life is better than having all the luxuries but you have all the stress and headache  in thinking where to get  the money in paying all your credit cards and other debts. Happy for those who have no monetary problems at all. Also remember, life is not all about  money!

I realized that  I am already jobless for more than five years now.  During that time I really don’t need to worry because hubby have a good job. I have been planning to go to school again or maybe apply for a job but it seems quite very difficult  here in Germany.  I had been sending application letters sometimes but all were rejected. I  am still not losing hope and wanted to try and try it again.

I am currently a work at home person. Since the economic and financial crisis  hit the United States last 2008, earning money online is quite difficult now.  I hope and pray that I can find a good  job very soon!

My schoolmate back in my home country visited me here in Germany last August 2011. She is currently living and working  in UK. She stayed in our places for around five days and I showed her different towns and cities in Bavaria, Germany. One of the cities we visited was Nürnberg.   It was quite a  nice trip because we truly enjoyed it.

If you are visiting Bavaria, have the chance to see the beauty of the city of Nürnberg.

If we want to buy food what do we use? If we want to go shopping for clothes, electronics or any goods how do we pay it? If you want to pay your debt, what do you need? If you want to pay your children’s tuition fees, how do you do it?

In all of the above, you always need a form of payment called money. I always hear someone, telling that she don’t have money all the time. Believe me guys, she always go shopping. My other friend also said, “Don’t say that do you have money. It is better to say, I don’t have a budget right now.” She just believed, if you always say that you don’t have money, then you won’t really have some.

Money is already part of our living today. Without it, we cannot buy food or anything that we need in life. In order to have money, one has to work. Unless you are retired and receive retirement money every month or you have a lot of money that you really don’t need to work. With the economic crisis that we are having now, we must consider on spending money wisely. It depends on your lifestyle and your living, then money should be budgeted enough to meet your daily needs.

I know most people want to have a lot of money in order not to go to work or maybe buy all their needs and luxuries in life. Remember, if you earn your money hard, for sure you will know its value.

The main functions of money are distinguished as: a medium of exchange; a unit of account; a store of value; and, occasionally in the past, a standard of deferred payment. Any kind of object or secure verifiable record that fulfills these functions can serve as money.”
